Bila Tserkva media report on schemes of official who sealed off UOC temple

During a meeting of the National Security and Defence Council, the President of Ukraine raised the issue of banditry and corruption in Bila Tserkva, as reported by the edition "Moya Kyivshchyna" ("My Kyiv Region"). The resource links this to the activities of Dmytro Kyryshun, the Secretary of the Bila Tserkva City Council, who had previously attempted to seal off the UOC Transfiguration Cathedral.

According to the media, the current Secretary of the Bila Tserkva City Council, Kyryshun, keeps a network of "titushky" (hired thugs) who facilitate corporate raids on enterprises in Ukraine.

In 2017, the man also established the so-called "nursing home" named “The Brantsky House”. According to the resource, the company provided care for "needy" individuals in exchange for their real estate.

"The point is that people in need of care transfer residential houses, apartments, or parts thereof, or other property to Dmytro Kyryshun's company, and the company commits to maintain and care for such individuals until their death. It sounds very noble, but there are significant nuances. The essence of such a business is to persuade a person to sign a sales or donation agreement. In the first case, payments can be obtained for the property, but housing is given away for free. In any case, the person loses ownership rights to the property, so there is no talk of any care or assistance conditions," the journalists added.

The media drew parallels between Kyryshun's activities and the "Embassy of God" led by Sunday Adelaja, where people also transferred their apartments to the organization's leader.

As reported, the authorities in Bila Tserkva attempted to seal off the UOC cathedral.
